Installing the battery

• Insert and install vehicle battery (4).
• Insert the holder with the screw (3) and install.
• Tighten down screw (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Retaining rail to battery carrier
  Hexagon screw	Tightening torque	15 Nm

• Connect the air bleeder hose (arrow) to the battery (2).
• Insert and install the positive battery cable (1).
• Tighten the nut on the positive battery cable (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Positive battery terminal to battery
  Nut M6	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• F56 Battery Electric Vehicle: 

  Feed in the heat pump controller (4) and position correctly.

  Clip in the cable clip (2).

  Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  Replace screws (3).

  Parts:  screws.

  Tighten the screws (3).

  Control unit bracket to battery tray
  Screw	tightening torque	15 Nm

• Install the tension strut (1).
• Tighten screws (arrows).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tension strut to battery tray
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Install the mount (1) for the seal and secure with the expanding rivet (arrow).

• Thread in and install battery earth lead (2).
• Tighten nut (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery terminal clamp on battery terminal
  M6	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• Connect connectors (3) and lock.

  The connector (3) must engage audibly.
