Install right charge air line

• Check sealing ring (1) for damage, replace if necessary.

• Let the lock (1) engage at the holder (arrow).

• Feed in the charge air duct (1) at the side through the wheel well between the side member and adapter of the front subframe.
• Push past the lower section of the charge air line on the charge air cooler.

• Install the upper section of the charge air line (1) past the wheel arch to the exhaust turbocharger.
• Feed in the lower part of the charge air line (2) and connect to the charge air cooler.
• Bring the right front adapter of the front subframe (1) in initial position.

• Attach the pressure pipe to the charge air cooler until the lock (1) snaps in on both sides.

  The lock (1) must engage audibly.

• Attach charge air duct to exhaust turbocharger until locks (1) engage on both sides.

  The lock (1) must engage audibly.

• Install cross connection (3).
• Install the locks (2).
• Lock the locking pins (1).

• Tighten the screw (2) of the cross connection at the right front.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Bottom deformation element to adapter plate for front axle support
  Tightening torque	11.8 Nm

• Replace the blind rivets (1) of the cross connection and rivet them.

  Parts:  Blind rivet

• Tighten the screws (2) of the front left cross connection.

  Tightening torque	11.8 Nm

• Replace blind rivets (1) for cross connection and rivet.

  Parts:  Blind rivet

• Tighten screws (1) on adapter of front subframe.

  Screw	tightening torque	100 Nm
