Removing the catalytic converter (engine removed)

WARNING: Hot surfaces.
Risk of burning!

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

If installed: Removing the differential pressure sensor with the pressure line

Unlock the detents (1) carefully.
Guide out and remove the cover (2) .

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Disconnect the pressure hose (2).
Loosen screw (3).
Feed out differential pressure sensor (4) and remove.

Version A
Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557.

Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.

Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557.

Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.

Loosen screw (1) .
Feed out coolant line (2) from the holder (3) and place to one side.
