72 11 092 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right seat belt

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Release screw (1).

Remove end fitting (2).

Release screw (1).

Take off the seat belt guide loop (2) with seat belt strap.

Release screw (1).

Feed out automatic reel (2) upwards to the front.

Remove seat belt.

Installation:

Install automatic reel (2) downwards to the rear.

NOTE: Make sure guide is correctly fitted in body.

Automatic reel (2) is encoded against incorrect installation.

Renew screw (1).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 20AZ .

Install the seat belt guide loop (2) including the seat belt strap.

Renew screw (1).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 21AZ .

Mount end fitting (2).

NOTE: End fitting (2) is encoded to prevent incorrect assembly.

Renew screw (1).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 22AZ .

Required follow-up work:
