51 45 380 Removing and installing (replacing) right decorative strip on dashboard

The following repair instructions describe the repair work on vehicles without a storage compartment.

For vehicles with a storage compartment, refer to 51 45 080 REPLACE DECORATIVE STRIP OF RIGHT STORAGE COMP .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove CENTER RIGHT FRESH AIR GRILLE .

Removal: 

Unclip and remove decorative strip (1) carefully on the attachment points (2).

Installation: 

Clip in decorative strip (1) on the attachment points (2).
