51 21 140 Removing and installing/replacing complete lock barrel in left or right front door

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the OUTER DOOR HANDLE SUPPORT 

Removal: 

Detach trim (1) at catch (2) and remove.

Twist lock barrel (1) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation: 

Rotate lock barrel (1) opposite to direction of arrow and engage.

Engage cover (1) on latch mechanism (2).
