51 13 085 Removing and installing/replacing trim strip on engine compartment lid (cowl panel)

Removal:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Do not bend trim strip (1) and chrome strip (2) during disassembly.

Apply the adhesive tape on the front compartment lid below the trim strip (1).

Carefully detach the trim strip (1) from the Front compartment lid in the direction of arrow.

Installation:

Engage trim strip (1).
