51 14 002 Removing and installing/replacing front MINI badge

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: The notes on COMPONENT BONDING WITH DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.

NOTE: The MINI badge is damaged during disassembly and must be replaced.

Removal:

Heat MINI badge (1) with hot air blower and carefully lever out with special tool 00 9 322 .

Installation:

Pull off the Liner* from the adhesive tape (1) and place the MINI badge over the guide pines (2) on the Front compartment lid and press down firmly.

* Liner is the protective film on a new MINI badge.
