23 11 214 Replace the right radial shaft seal on the differential (GS6X60DA/BA) (Countryman base ALL4 AWD, Countryman S ALL4 AWD, Countryman JCW ALL4 AWD)

Special tools required: 

• 23 0 120 
• 23 0 370 
• 2 358 468 
• 2 358 469 
• 2 358 467 

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove TRANSFER BOX .

Removal: 

Screw in special tool 2 358 468 in the radial shaft seal until the radial shaft seal is pulled out.

Screw in special tool 2 358 469 in the radial shaft seal until the radial shaft seal is pulled out.

Installation: 

Use the special tool 2 358 467 to drive the radial shaft seal into the housing until the sealing ring is flush with the transmission housing.

Check TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL and check for leak.

Required follow-up work: 

• Install TRANSFER BOX .

Attention! 

AFTER COMPLETION OF WORK, CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL .

Vehicle must be level during the transmission oil-level check in the workshop.

Use only the APPROVED TRANSMISSION OIL .

Failure to comply with this instruction will result in serious damage to the transmission.

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of leakage transmission oil.
