Installing the VANOS central valve of the exhaust camshaft adjuster

• Guide in and install the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake camshaft adjuster.

• Hand-tighten the VANOS central valve (1) of the exhaust camshaft adjuster.

• Loosen VANOS central valve (1) of the exhaust camshaft adjuster in direction of arrow  60 °.
