Replacing transmission input speed sensor (6-speed, AISIN GA6F21AW) (Cooper Clubman base FWD)

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL .

Make a note of drained ATF quantity.

IMPORTANT: Use only the approved automatic transmission oil: ATF6 (BMW/MINI part number 83 22 2 355 599).

Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!

Do not drain oil before the transmission has cooled down.

Preliminary work needed:

Removal:

Remove screw (1).

Remove sensor (2).

Installation:

Install sensor (2) and fasten with screw (1).

IMPORTANT: Coat sealing ring with clean transmission oil.

Tightening torque: 24 35 1AZ .
