Replacing the seat belt clip (Cooper)

Special tools required:

NOTE: If the position of the seat belt clip (1) cannot be identified, the position of the seat belt clip on the opposite side of the vehicle is used.

Insert the belt clip (1) in the previous position on the safety belt (2).

Mount the counterpiece (1).

Press the belt clip with special tool 00 5 040.

Check that the belt clip and counterpiece (1) are firmly seated.

NOTE: If the seat belt clip is pressed too firmly, the counterpiece may loosen (1).
