Removing and installing/replacing the controller drive for the mixed air flap (right)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove side center console TRIM PANEL .

Removal: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew the screws (2).

Remove actuator drive (3).

Installation: 

Position actuator drive (3) correctly.

Tighten down screws (2).

Join and lock plug connection (1).

Servomotors must be readdressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnostic system.

Service functions: 

• Body
• Heating/air conditioning function
• Flap motors
• Readdress flap motors

Required reworking: 

• Install side center console TRIM PANEL .
