72 11 101 Removing and installing/replacing rear center safety belt

Preliminary work needed:

Removing BACKREST FRAME

Removal:

NOTE: Shown here without backrest cover and upholstery for a better overview

Shift backrest cover with upholstery upwards.

Release screw (1) on rear of backrest.

Remove seat belt retractor from backrest frame in upwards direction.

Installation:

NOTE: Electrically motorized reel is coded against incorrect installation.

Attach seat belt retractor to backrest frame.

Replace screw (1).

Tighten screw (1) on rear of backrest.

Tightening torque 72 11 20AZ .

Required follow-up work:

Install BACKREST FRAME
