61 31 195 Removing and installing front controller

Special tools required:

00 9 327

Removal:

Lever out cover (1) with special tool 00 9 327 .

Feed out cover (1) from guide in arrow direction.

Release screws (1) and feed out controller (2) from guide in arrow direction.

Unlock and disconnect connector (1) on controller (2).

Installation:

Connect connector (1) to controller (2).

NOTE: Ensure correct cable routing (1).

Guide (2) must not be missing or damaged.

Join controller (2) in guide in arrow direction.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 61 31 5AZ .

NOTE: Ensure controller (2) is correctly fitted in guide.

NOTE: Guide and clamp on cover (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Join cover (1) in arrow direction.

NOTE: Ensure cover (1) is correctly fitted in guide.
