61 31 113 Removing and installing/replacing both shift paddles for automatic transmission

Preliminary work needed: 

Disassembly of the steering wheel is not necessary! 

Removal: 

Disconnect connector and release screws (1).

Remove shift paddles (2) towards the rear and feed out associated cables.

Installation: 

Feed in cables from the rear and join shift paddles (2).

Connect connector and tighten screws (1).

Tightening torque 61 31 4AZ .

NOTE: Ensure shift paddles (2) are correctly fitted.

Installation note: 

Make sure the cable routing (1) is correct!

The cable (1) must be routed between the ring (2) and the pin (3) as shown.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

The cable (1) must not be in contact with the pin (3)!
