41 34 060 Stripping operation - replace tail panel outer section and inner section

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration. The following list essentially represents the disassembly sequence.

Remove complete exhaust system
Remove heat shield for rear silencer
Remove bumper cover
Remove bumper bracket
Remove guide for rear left and right bumper
Remove luggage compartment floor covering
Remove left trunk wheel arch panel
Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel
Remove tail panel trim at top
Remove and install trunk lid striker
Release seal for rear lid

Release screws (1) and remove shaft (2).

Release detents and remove rear ventilation (1).

Release nuts and remove heat shield (2).

Release nuts and remove underbody planking (3).

Installation note:

The rear ventilation must not be damaged! (watertightness).

All detents must engage audibly.
