41 12 701 Replacing luggage compartment floor and side member on right (rear quarter panel and tail panel removed)

The operation is identical to "REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR AND LEFT SIDE MEMBER ".

Stripping operations:

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Remove the rear rear-axle support
Remove the rear right spring strut shock absorber

Release nuts and remove heat shield (1).

Release grommets (2).

Detach wiring harness at attachment points (3).

Installation note:

Ensure correct installation of the grommets (watertightness).

Release screw (1) and remove exhaust system holder.

Tightening torque 18 20 2AZ .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release holder (2) and lay towards front.

Release wiring harness at attachment point (3).

Release grommets (4).

Unscrew nuts (1). Place the holder for the control unit towards the front.

Release nut (1) for ground connection.

Tightening torque 41 34 1AZ .

Detach wiring harness at attachment points (2).

Unclip holder (3) and lay to one side.

Release grommet (4) and feed through inwards with wiring harness.

Partially release insulating mat (5) and tie forwards.

Installation note:

Ensure correct installation of the grommet (watertightness).

Release screw (1) and remove unlocking mechanism (2).

Release screws (3) and remove holder.

Tightening torque 52 26 3AZ .
