12 14 521 Replacing crankshaft pulse sensor (B36, B38, B46, B48)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FAN COWL .

Removal:

Unlock plug (2) from pulse generator and detach.

Release screw (1).

Remove pulse generator (3).

Installation:

Install pulse sensor (3).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 13 62 2AZ .

Attach connector (2) on pulse sensor.

Connector (2) must snap audibly into place.
