11 22 000 Removing and installing/replacing flywheel (B36A/B38A)

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Vehicles with automatic transmission: Remove TRANSMISSION .
Vehicles with manual gearbox: Remove CLUTCH .

REMOVAL:

Manual gearbox .

Secure flywheel with transmission bolt (1) and special tool 11 9 811 /11 9 265 .

Release flywheel studs with special tool 11 4 180 /

Automatic transmission .

Secure flywheel with transmission bolt (1) and special tool 11 9 811 /11 9 265 .

Unfasten flywheel bolts.

INSTALLATION:

Manual gearbox .

Parts: Replace screws.

Secure flywheel with transmission bolt (1) and special tool 11 9 811 /11 9 265 .

Tighten flywheel bolts with special tool 11 4 180 .

Tightening torque: 11 22 1AZ .
