23 11 212 Replacing sealing cap (GS6-58/59 BG/DG)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

IMPORTANT:

Risk of damage:

Damage to the transmission housing will result in oil leaks!

Knock in sealing cap (1) on the transmission with a slotted screwdriver and lever out.

Installation: 

Manually insert sealing cap (1) into transmission opening.

Drive sealing cap (1) flush to the limit position with special tool 0 002 877 .

Required follow-up work: 

IMPORTANT:

The vehicle must be parked on a level surface to check the transmission oil level.

Use only the approved TRANSMISSION OIL .

Failure to comply with this instruction will result in serious damage to the transmission.
