24 35 511 Replacing wiring harness in automatic transmission (AISIN F21FT)

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, check TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL . Make a note of drained ATF quantity.

Use only the approved TRANSMISSION OIL .

Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!

Do not drain oil before the transmission has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove HYDRAULIC SHIFT UNIT

Removal:

Disconnect connector (1).

Unlock slide (1).

Pull wiring harness (1) out of transmission housing.

Installation:

Parts: Replace gaskets (2) and (3).

Insert wiring harness (1) into transmission.

IMPORTANT: Connector of lug (1) must be fitted in transmission recess (2).

Lock slide (1).

Connect and lock connector (1).
