34 52 535 Replacing a rear pulse sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

Take the cable out of the bracket (1).

Release screw (2) and remove pulse sensor (3).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Disengage cable from holders (2).

Installation: 

Clean bore hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease.

IMPORTANT: Check sensor head prior to installation for damage, replacing if necessary.

Attach brake pad wear sensor in the brackets (2).

Connect plug connection (1).

Install cable in bracket (1).

Install pulse sensor (3).

Fit bolt (2) and tighten.

Tightening torque 34 51 5AZ .
