34 52 250 Removing and installing/replacing optional equipment system (SAS) control unit

NOTE: The optional equipment system (SAS) is a control unit in which the functions of the suspension control systems and the assist systems are integrated.
IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

Remove cover (1) of right luggage compartment trim panel.

Unlock and disconnect plugs (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove SAS control unit (3).

Installation: 

Position SAS control unit (1).

Insert nuts (2) and tighten.

Tightening torque 34 51 6AZ .

Connect plug connection (3).

Install cover (1).
