52 13 002 Removing and installing front seat, passenger's side

Attention  !

The side airbag is integrated in the front seat.

Improper handling may trigger the side airbag and as a result cause injuries.

Observe all applicable SAFETY INFORMATION for handling components of airbag system.

Installation note: 

Removal: 

Adjust front seat completely to the rear.

Release screws (1).

Adjust front seat completely to the front.

Release screws (1).

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Attention  !

Cover entrances with protective covers (risk of damage!)

Carefully lift out front seat.

WARNING: When carrying out further work on the front seat, it is absolutely imperative to observe all applicable SAFETY INFORMATION for handling airbag modules and pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners
Improper handling can lead to triggering of the pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner or side airbag, resulting in injuries.

Installation: 

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 52 10 1AZ .

Carefully lift and position front seat in vehicle.

Connect the connector (1).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 10 1AZ .

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 10 1AZ .
