11 34 560 Replacing all valve stem seals (B48, B46)

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove VALVE SPRINGS

Removal:

Disassemble valve stem seal (1) with special tool 11 1 480 .

Installation:

NOTE: The contact surface (1) must be clean.

Replace the valve stem seal (1).

Position the new valve stem seal (1) in special tool 11 6 380 .

NOTE: Risk of damage to the sealing lip!

Press on valve stem seal (1) to stop using special tool 11 6 380 in direction of arrow.
