11 65 300 Removing and installing/replacing electrical controller drive for wastegate valve (B48, B46): Removal

NOTE: Unless otherwise described, the following operations are carried out from above!

Release screws (1) on left heat shield (3).

Release left heat shield (3) from guide pin (2) and remove.

Release screws (1) on upper heat shield.

Release screw (1) on upper heat shield (2).

Feed out and remove upper heat shield (2).

Unlock connector (1) and pull off.

Unlock clamp (1) and detach it at top.

Release screws (1).

Detach electrical controller drive linkage from the wastegate valve.

Remove electrical controller drive (1).

Release screws (1).

Detach electrical controller drive linkage (1) from the wastegate valve.

Remove electrical controller drive (1).
