11 53 086 Removing and installing/replacing coolant feed line for exhaust turbocharger (B48, B46)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Drain COOLANT
Remove CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Removal:

Attention !

Residual coolant can emerge.

Release screw (1).

Pull off coolant line (2) from engine block.

Release screw (1).

Turn coolant line (2) in direction of arrow and pull off of exhaust turbocharger.

Installation:

NOTE: Replace O-rings (1).

Connect coolant line (2) to exhaust turbocharger and turn coolant line in direction of arrow.

Insert screw (1) and tighten.

Tightening torque 11 53 1AZ .

Connect coolant line (2) to engine block.

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 11 53 2AZ .
