65 77 740 Removing and installing (replacing) the front door sensor, left (Cooper Convertible)

airbag safety regulations!
Failure to observe correct procedures can deploy the airbag and cause injuries.
Preliminary work needed:
- Partially remove the sound insulation from the FRONT DOOR .
Removal:
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Slacken nut (2).
Remove sensor (3) downwards.
Installation:
Position sensor (3) correctly.
Tighten nut (2).
Tightening torque 65 77 4AZ .
Join and lock plug connection (1).
Required reworking:
- Attach SOUND INSULATION at front door.
