REP-TAT-P-5434-02 Installing the roof cassette

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Attach the roof cassette to the linkage.
Lift the convertible top mechanism guide (2) at the linkage over the threaded bushings.
Tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Roof cassette to linkage

8 Nm

Connect plug connection (1) and lock.

Detents, guides and mounting elements must not be damaged or missing.
Clip in the clip (arrow).

Position the headlining (2) at the front.
Pull in the blind rivets (1).

Attach holder (1) with guide (2) in the convertible top frame (3).

Screw on the nut (1), do not tighten yet.

Attach the bow (1) on both sides.

Replacement: Align the front strut

Align the front strut (2) with the cowl panel when the folding sunroof is closed.
If applicable, slacken the left and right screws (1), align the front strut (2) and tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Front strut to frame

8 Nm

Position the convertible top fabric (2) on the front strut in the direction of the arrow.
Clip in the detents (1) in the highlighted area.

Attach tension cable (2).
Secure tension cable (2) with adhesive tape (1).
Close soft top completely.

Clean the adhesive area (1).
Fix double-sided adhesive tape over the entire width of the adhesive area.
CONSUMABLE DESCRIPTION

Adhesive tape, double-sided 54112290978
Bond convertible top fabric (2) to the bow.

Attach clamps (1) on bow (3).
Attach cable holder (2) on bow (3).

Clean the adhesive area (1).
Fix double-sided adhesive tape over the entire width of the adhesive area.

Bond convertible top fabric (1) on front strut (2).

Open the folding sunroof a few cm.
Push the trim (1) towards the front and position it.
