REP-TAT-P-5434-02 Installing the front strut

Install the front strut (2).
Align the front strut (2) with the cowl panel when the folding sunroof is closed.
Align and tighten the screws (1) the marks on the left and right.
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Front strut to frame

8 Nm

Attach the tension cable (2) to the side of the roof frame.

Attach the convertible top fabric (2) to the front strut (at the front).
Clip in the detents (1) at the front in the highlighted area.

Open folding sunroof a few centimeters to relieve tension on soft top cover.
Completely remove the double-sided adhesive tape at the convertible top fabric (1) and attach new double-sided adhesive tape.

Bond the convertible top fabric (1) to the front strut (2).
Replace clamps for the trim (1).
Parts: 3 clamps
Connect the trim (1).
