REP-TAT-P-5434-02 Installing the stowage locks

Apply the stowage lock on the left and right hand-tight using screws (1).
Open and close the convertible top approx. 10 times, this ensures the stowage lock positioning is correct.
Tighten the screws (1) on the stowage lock.
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Stowage lock to soft top frame

8 Nm

Left side only:
Slide the hall effect sensor (2) into the recess (3) of the cover (1) up to the stop.

Make sure the hall effect sensor (2) is correctly positioned in the cover (1).

Position cover.
Tighten down screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Cover to stowage lock

6 Nm

Check the hall effect sensor (1) for correct fit.
The Hall effect sensor (1) must be located behind the holder (2).

Connect and lock the hall effect sensor plug connection (1).
Clip the cable into the body.
