Replace electric valve for vacuum control of coolant pump (B48 and B46 engine) (Cooper S and John Cooper Works)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove INTAKE PLENUM .

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Detach vacuum lines (1) from electric valve (2).

Unlock electric valve (1) in the marked area and detach towards front.

Installation:

Place electric valve (1) in arrow direction on holder.

NOTE: Electric valve (1) has to engage inside the marked area.

Place vacuum hoses (1) on electric valve (2).

IMPORTANT: Do not interchange vacuum hoses!

Connect the connector (1).
