The following list essentially represents the disassembly sequence.
- Remove vehicle battery (61 21 010)
- Remove engine compartment lid (41 61 000)
- Remove right engine compartment lid hinge (41 61 060)
- Remove front right door (41 51 004)
- Remove front right side panel (41 35 000)
- Remove right headlight (63 12 010 or 63 12 012)
- Remove support for right cross link (41 33 731)
- Front right wheel arch cover (51 71 040)
- Remove front axle complete with engine and transmission (31 10 001)
- Remove hydraulic unit for DSC (34 51 527)
- Partially loosen wiring harness
- Remove right engine mount (22 11 001)
- Remove outer right output shaft (31 60 004)
- Remove right spring strut (31 31 000)
- Remove right wishbone (31 12 000)
- Remove bulkhead lower part
- Remove wires for the air conditioning
