The following list basically represents the removal sequence.
- Disconnect the battery (61 20 900)
- Remove the tailgate (41 62 000)
- Remove the trim panel on the rear left and right of the roof pillar (51 43 251)
- Remove the left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (51 47 151)
- Remove the right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (51 47 161)
- Remove the rear left and right side trim panels (51 43 002)
- Remove the headlining (51 44 001)
- Remove both tailgate hinges (41 62 070)
- Remove the trim for the A-pillar on the left and right (51 31 045)
- Remove the windscreen (51 31 000)
- Remove the side window strip on the rear right (51 36 040)
- Remove the roof pillar trim on the rear left and right (51 13 375)
- Remove the left and right side windows (51 36 070)
- Remove the left and right roof rails (51 13 305)
- Remove the left and right roof trim strips (51 13 301)
- Remove the roof-mounted aerial (65 20 020)
Release tailgate seal
