Removing and installing/replacing all guide sleeves for rear head restraints (Cooper Convertible)

Special tools required:
- 52 0 070
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove HEAD RESTRAINTS from rear seat
Removal:
Insert special tool 52 0 070 into guide hole of sleeve (2) up to upper area of retaining lug.
Feed release tongue of special tool into rear gap on retaining lug (1).
Turn tool to release sleeve (2) and pull out by lifting upwards.
Installation:
Equipment specification with 2 head restraints:
Insert guide sleeves from above and lock.
Pay attention to installation position of guide sleeves:
- Guide sleeves with lock
- Guide sleeves without lock
Equipment specification with 3 head restraints:
Insert guide sleeves from above and lock.
Pay attention to installation position of guide sleeves:
- Guide sleeves with lock
- Guide sleeves without lock
Required follow-up work:
- Install HEAD RESTRAINT at rear seat
