Removing and installing/replacing ultrasound sensor for parking assistant (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:

Partially remove front left or right WHEEL ARCH COVER .

Removal:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock latches at marked points.

Pull ultrasonic transducer (2) out of holder.

Installation:

Engage ultrasonic sensor (2) in holder.

Join and lock plug connection (1).

NOTE: Detents must not be damaged!

Make sure ultrasonic sensor (2) is securely seated.

Required reworking:

Install front left or right WHEEL ARCH COVER .
