Removing and installing/replacing PMA control unit (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove rear right side TRIM PANEL .

Removal:

Unlock detents (1).

Unlock and disconnect connector (2).

Pull the control unit (3) from the holder.

Replacement:

Carry out PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Installation:

Correctly insert the control unit (3) into the holder.

Detents (1) must lock correctly.

Join and lock connector (2).

Required reworking:

Install the rear right side TRIM PANEL .
