Remove and install/replace a front center right (inside) ultrasonic transducer (Park Distance Control) (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove front BUMPER COVER .

Removal:

Unlock detents (1).

Pull out ultrasonic sensor (2) upwards out of holder.

Installation:

NOTE: Make sure rubber ring (1) is correctly seated on ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Before installation of ultrasonic sensor (2) on wiring harness, clean plug connection!

Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic transducer (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).
