Removing and installing/replacing a fanfare horn (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove front BUMPER COVER .

Removal:

Fanfare horn on top holder:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release nut (2) and feed out fanfare horn (3).

Fanfare horn on bottom holder:

Release nut (1) and feed out fanfare horn (2).

Unlock and disconnect associated connector.

Installation:

Fanfare horn on top holder:

Join fanfare horn (3) and tighten with nut (2).

Tightening torque 61 33 2AZ .

Connect the connector (1).

Fanfare horn on bottom holder:

Connect associated connector.

Join fanfare horn (2) and tighten with nut (1).

Tightening torque 61 33 2AZ .

Required follow-up work:

Install front BUMPER COVER .
