Replacing a rear pulse sensor (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

Removal: 

Take the cable out of the holder (1).

Release screw (2) and remove pulse sensor (3).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Disengage cable from holders (2).

Installation: 

Clean hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease.

IMPORTANT: Check sensor head prior to installation for damage, replacing if necessary.

Attach brake pad wear sensor in the holders (2).

Connect plug connection (1).

Install cable in holder (1).

Install pulse sensor (3).

Fit bolt (2) and tighten.

Tightening torque 34 51 5AZ .
