52 26 201 Removing and installing/replacing rear panel on rear seat backrest

WARNING: Injury hazard!
The seat frame has very sharp edges that can cause injuries from cuts.
Exercise extreme caution and wear work gloves as required when carrying out any repair work in the area of the seat frame.

Preliminary work needed: 

Removal: 

Version with lashing point: 

Remove screw (1).

Remove lashing point (2) from backrest.

Insert screwdriver into the trim (1) and lightly push the detent downwards into area (2).

Feed trim (1) outwards.

Lever out welt (1).

Pull out and remove the rear panel (2) in lower area (3).

Installation: 

Feed in rear panel (1) in area (2).

Attach welt (3).

Insert trim (1) in area (2).

Clip in trim (1) in area (3).

NOTE: Make sure the trim (1) is engaged properly.

Version with lashing point: 

Install lashing point (2) in backrest.

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 6AZ .
