Remove and install/replace hot film air mass meter

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with NOTES on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).

Removal:

Unlock connector (1) and detach.

Unscrew the screws (2).

Remove the hot film air mass meter (3).

Installation:

Install hot film air mass meter (3).

Tighten down screws (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 6AZ .

Attach connector (1).

Connector (1) must engage audibly.

Replacement only:

Reset the adaptation values for the air mass system with the MINI diagnostic system using an appropriate scan tool.
