Removing and installing/replacing all spray nozzles of windshield washer system
Preliminary work needed:
- If necessary, remove DAMPING LAYER on engine compartment lid.
Removal:
Removing the spray nozzle:
Unlock and disconnect hose (1).
Unlock and disconnect plug (2) as required.
Release the retaining lugs and feed the spray nozzle (3) out from the hood.
Removing the hose pipe:
Unclip the hose pipe (1).
Release the hose connector (2) and feed the hose pipe (1) out.
Removing the hose pipe:
Unlock and disconnect the hose pipe from the connector (1).
Feed the hose pipe out.
Unlock and disconnect plug (2) as required.
If necessary, feed out cable.
Installation:
Installing the hose pipe:
Feed the hose pipe in.
Connect and lock the hose pipe on the connector (1).
If necessary, feed in cable.
If applicable, connect the connector (2).
Installing the hose pipe:
Feed the hose pipe (1) in and fit the hose connector (2).
Clip in the hose pipe (1).
Installing the spray nozzle:
Join spray nozzle (3) in engine compartment lid.
Connect hose (1).
If applicable, connect the connector (2).
- Retaining lugs must not be damaged
- Ensure spray nozzle (3) is correctly engaged
- Check spray nozzle setting and correct if necessary.
- Observe washer fluid reservoir filling capacity.
Required follow-up work:
- If necessary, install DAMPING LAYER on engine compartment lid.
