Replacing pressure relief valve for rear axle differential clutch (AWD)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Completely remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .
• Remove heat shield at rear.

Removal:

Loosen pressure relief valve (1) and remove clutch (2) on the rear axle differential.

Installation: 

Replace pressure relief valve (1).

Parts  : Pressure relief valve

Coat seal of pressure relief valve with oil.

Screw in pressure relief valve (1) hand force and tighten.

Tightening torque 33 10 6AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Installing the rear heat shield
• Completely install the EXHAUST SYSTEM .
  • Carry out the hang-on clutch "oil bleeding procedure".

    Service function -> Drivetrain > Longitudinal torque distribution -> Bleeding

    Waiting period of 60 seconds

    Carry out the service function "bleeding procedure" again
