Removing and installing/replacing front anti-roll bar (Cooper)

Removal: 

Release screws (1) from anti-roll bar.

• Lower front AXLE SUPPORT .

Loosen screws (1).

Remove heat shield (2).

Remove anti-roll bar (1) with retainer from front axle.

Installation: 

If necessary, remount retainer (1) on new anti-roll bar (2).

Position anti-roll bar (1) on front subframe.

Replace screws (1).

Parts  : screw

Screw screws into retainer from below and tighten hand-tight.

Position heat shield (2).

Replace screws (1).

Parts  : screw

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 32 00 2AZ .

• Raise front AXLE SUPPORT .

Tighten screws (1) of anti-roll bar.

Tightening torque 31 35 3AZ .
