Removing and installing/replacing backrest for left rear seat
IMPORTANT:
- Microencapsulated screws must be coated with Loctite if they are to be reused
- Screw connection must be completed within 20 min. (start of harden)
- Microencapsulated screws must not be retightened.
- Thread of nut must be cleaned beforehand in event of repeated use
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove REAR SEAT .
- Remove left BACKREST SIDE SECTION .
Removal:
Fold backrest (1).
Remove screw (2).
Pull the backrest (1) out of the central mount.
Installation:
NOTE:
Make sure plastic bushing (1) is fitted correctly in the right backrest.
The plastic bushing (1) must be retained in the backrest frame.
Feed backrest (1) into the central mount.
Tighten screw (2).
Tightening torque 52 26 4AZ .
Required follow-up work:
- Install REAR SEAT .
- Install left BACKREST SIDE SECTION
