NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Only US/Canadian version of front passenger seat with seat occupancy mat (CIS):
The seat occupancy mat is bonded to the entire surface of the upholstery and can only be replaced together with the upholstery.
If the seat occupancy mat or cushion is defective, both parts must always be replaced together.
Full operability can only be guaranteed with Original BMW replacement parts.
After installing the seat cover, enable the seat occupancy mat using the BMW programing system via the appropriate service function.

The heating mat is glued to the foam pad and cannot be dismantled non-destructively.
When replacing the heating mat, a new one must always be installed with a new foam pad.

- Version with seat heating: Position and align the heating mat (1) on the upholstery (2).
Bond the heating mat (1) with the upholstery (2).
