Replacing lumbar support on front seat (standard, electric) on left or right

Removal:

Detach all luggage straps (1) on the backrest cover.

Open zipper (1).

Detach backrest cover (1) from the holders (3) and set it down.

Unhook welt (1).

Release cable clip (1).

Release cable tie (2).

Release clip (3).

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Detach lugs (1) of lumbar support (2).

Slightly push the backrest padding (1) towards the front.

Carefully feed out the lumbar support (2) in downward direction between the spring wire and the backrest padding (1).

Installation:

Slightly push the backrest padding (1) towards the front.

Carefully feed in the lumbar support (2) from the bottom between the spring wire and the backrest padding (1).

Attach lugs (1) of lumbar support (2).

Pull the backrest padding towards the rear in position.

NOTE: Air hoses must not be kinked.

Connect the connector (1).

Secure cable clip (1).

Fasten cable tie (2).

Fasten clip (3).
