Remove and install/replace (inner) door sill cover strip, rear left or right

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325

When carrying out repair work on trim panels, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Partially remove REAR SEAT .

Removal: 

Release fixture (1) from door sill cover strip (2).

Carefully lever rocker panel trim (2) out of clips (3) using special tool 00 9 325 and remove.

Installation: 

Replacement 

Remount clips (3).

Carefully engage rocker panel trim (2) in clips (3).

Secure expanding rivet (1) of door sill cover strip (2).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install REAR SEAT .
